Modal analysis is very important in study of vibrations in biomechanics or mechanics. This article focuses on the creation of an anatomical model of a bovine cadaveric femur (i.e. CT scanning and image processing). The study itself focuses on experimental and numerical (FEM) approaches to modal analysis and a subsequent comparison of the results.
