Swarm intelligence is based on nature-inspired behavior and is successfully applied to optimization problems in a variety of fields. The goal of optimization is to find the optimum in the smallest possible amount of iterations where the optimum means the best among all possibilities chosen from a particular point of view (so-called: criterion). Keywords: System diagnostic, Swarm-based optimization, Bees algorithm.
