The paper documents re-calibration of the remaining load-carying capacity (RCMT) methodology assessed to determine limit pressure of pipeline with surface areal defect. It was done under research contract between RWE Transgas, a.s. and FME of CTU in Prague. 9 artiﬁcial defects that had been experimentally tested in past, were analysed and utilised as re-calibration resource. ´
