pages 41 - +6p., full text

In the paper the properties of active and semi -active suspensions of heavy goods vehicle are compared. The criteria of comparison were the RMS sprung mass vertical acceleration, RMS dynamic tyre force and the power consumption. The active system was based on the air spring with controlled inflow and out-flow of the air. In the semi-active system a controlled hydraulic damper was employed
