Medical image segmentation based on computing of image characteristics

This report is concerned with processing of eT and MRl image data. Described method based on application of active contour models seems to be more efficient than usually used single contour model.. The main area of application of this segmentation method lies in biomechanical (FEM model creating, computational modelling, Rapid prototyping) and biomedical (diagnosis support) field.
